Zeus Juice New Flavours Review: Bask in the Flavour of the Gods

By Peach Atkinson 6th July 2022 5 Mins

Zeus Juice have just released release five new flavours as part of their premium shortfill range.

Following the hugely successful launch of the new Zeus Juice flavours in 2020 and 2022, the company has launched five superior all-day vapes as part of their premium range.

We were able to get hold of these exciting new flavours in advance and this is what we thought…

Daphne

VG/PG: 70/30

An ecstatic combination of bright fruitiness and deep dessert notes, Daphne ticks all the boxes of a well-rounded e-liquid.

For me, the sharp and somewhat tangy blackberry introduced a solid and embracing vibe that matched up well will the sweeter elements also offered up in this flavour.

As hinted, this e-liquid manages to expertly match the tart blackberry notes with deep tones of rich, warm and creamy cheesecake.

I felt that the cheesecake side of things brought the berries together, mellowing out the vibrant fruitiness with a velvety softness.

To add to this e-liquid’s complexity, there was a side flavour of crumbly digestive biscuit base that really brought this offering from Zeus to life.

Helios

VG/PG: 70/30

A decadent blend of ripe stone fruits, Helios is the perfect summertime flavour.

Enlisting a mixture of sweet and sour modalities, this e-liquid was as complex as it was delicious.

My initial taste when vaping this flavour was an obvious tangy and juicy peach, however, this soon made way for a smoother, lighter apricot.

The combination of two seemingly similar fruits may evoke a feeling of simplicity but by no means is that the case – the balance between the two flavour elements was spot on and was super easy to get in to.

To me, there was very little cooling agent added, which I felt made this e-liquid stand out from the crowd.

Nessie

VG/PG: 70/30

Inspired by the unmistakeable Scottish, orange-coloured fizzy drink, ‘Nessie’ manages to encapsulate all of the hallmarks of this difficult-to-define flavour.

With a smooth cream soda type inhale, the flavour soon follows onto notes of sweet mixed fruits and then further on to juicy bubblegum.

As you can probably agree, describing this beverage flavoured e-liquid is difficult, as the drink itself is so distinctive in taste, however, its likeness to the real life product is uncanny.

It does carry a substantial level of effervescence that just adds to the realistic nature of this e-liquid.

As someone who is neither here nor there about the drink, I thoroughly enjoyed vaping it instead and its crisp set of flavours made it a true all day vape.

Athene

VG/PG: 70/30

A clear favourite of mine, ‘Athene’ just oozes tropical vibes.

With a delicate mixture of punchy, ripe watermelon and sweet, juicy strawberries, this flavour is then rounded up with a broad and refreshing citrusy lemonade.

The juxtaposition of the bright watermelon and soft strawberry with the sour and bubbly lemonade makes for a complex and multi-layered e-liquid.

Not only did I enjoy the flavour as a whole, but also enjoyed the experience of picking out all of the sub-flavours whilst vaping.

Zeus Juice has nailed all of the complexities of a decent fruit-based e-liquid and the collection of clear, independent elements managed to combine into a super easy-to-vape flavour that is designed with fruit fans in mind.

Apollo

VG/PG: 70/30

When it comes to a lot of e-liquids out there, most flavour constituents can be presented separately and co-exist next to one another.

Zeus, however, somehow manages to combine the flavours of raspberries and blueberries in to one.

The raspberries seem to have the tartness of the blueberries and the blueberries seem to have the sweetness of the raspberries.

Now, this is an incredibly difficult concept to try and describe through words, but when you try it, you will know exactly what I mean.

The amalgamation of berries is offset by a strong and powerful lemonade that boosted the bright and vivacious feel to this e-liquid in its entirety.

Personally, I found that the intensely complex blend of fruity flavours was executed flawlessly and therefore made it a clear choice for warm weather vaping.

How much do they cost?

The new juices retail at £12.49 for 50ml and £19.99 for 100ml. Visit the Zeus Juice website to find out more.
