The Beco MATE disposable provides approximately 550 puffs, with a 2ml tank and 20mg nicotine.
The small pocket-sized vape was nice and light, offering a pleasant, slightly restrictive draw and a comfortable mouthpiece.
Overall, the Beco MATE put in a solid performance for me, providing a range of flavours that could appeal to vapers of a variety of different flavour preferences.
Alongside the device itself, I reviewed six of the available flavours, ranging from a traditionalist tobacco to fresh and crispy apple.
Tested Beco Mate Flavours:
Premium Menthol
Great minty flavour, not too overpowering on the draw and sweet – much like Polo mints.
Golden Tobacco
I do like my tobacco vapes and this didn’t disappoint. The rich, deep and oaky flavour was smooth and had a slight throat hit. It reminds me of an award-winning vape from Café Racer.
Mango Ice
This one I struggled with, as the mango, whilst there, was very thin in flavour. The ice on the inhale was not too strong and lacked any depth.
Lush Ice
In complete contrast to the Mango Ice, the Lush Ice was bursting with fresh watermelon straight from the get-go and the ice was strong and refreshing, giving it a good throat hit.
Crispy Apple
A nice and fresh apple vape flavour. It was sweet and genuinely juicy, creating a naturally-tasting apple that didn’t feel artificial – think Granny Smiths.
Strawberry Burst
Another strong flavour, the Strawberry Burst was jam-packed with that strawberry flavour, all without feeling artificial.
Again, this was somewhat juicy, much like fresh ripe strawberries.
