The first thing you will notice is its distinctively small size – being able to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand is a speciality of the VONT One.
This is probably one of the lightest kits I have reviewed, weighing in at just a mere 17g. This only adds to the high level of portability that this kit boasts and is therefore an excellent choice for discreet vaping.
With a simple and streamlined exterior, this device is rectangular in shape with crisp, clear angles and a brushed black finish.
Having a closer look, the VONT One device features just a small battery indicator light and a micro USB charging port.
With the complete lack of buttons, this kit has an auto-draw function, meaning you can puff away on it without having to press a button.
With a battery life of 300mAh, you will probably end up having to charge this kit a couple of times a day, especially if you are a heavy vaper like myself. However, one of the handy features that the VONT offers is a fast charging time, going from 0 percent to 100 percent in roughly 20-25 minutes.
As I previously mentioned, this kit is super easy to operate and makes use of pre-filled pods, meaning you will skip the sometimes fiddly step of refilling the pods or changing a coil.
Each pod contains 1ml of 20mg e-liquid and I found that I got through about two pods a day, but if you are only a light vaper, you will find that each pod lasts a bit longer.
The pods feature a layer of protection in the form of removable silicone bungs and a plastic sheath, reducing the chance of leakages during storage, and each pod is colour coded by flavour.
Juicy Berry
Juicy Berry is just that, a rich and flavourful mixture of bright summer berries with a delicate touch of mint.
The pairing of ripe and floral berries with the notes of garden mint made this e-liquid both refreshing and easy to vape, particularly when paired up with a cold beverage.
Fresh Mint
This will certainly appeal to menthol vapers/smokers, due to its basic, but effective, combination of mint and menthol, plus a tiny drop of cooling agent.
Even though I am not usually a fan of minty flavours, I felt that this one seemed to be rather smooth in comparison to others I have tried before.
Creamy Tobacco
As another flavour profile I don’t often vape, I was seriously impressed by this one.
The juxtaposition of deep tobacco leaf and soft, creamy vanilla elements caused a sweet and incredibly smooth vaping experience.
Despite its sweetness, this flavour was really easy to vape consistently.
VONT Pod System Overview
The flavour produced by this tiny, unassuming kit was certainly stunning. It seemed to come across as a little muted at first, but as I continued to vape, the flavours became more pronounced and warm.
Managing to accommodate both MTL (Mouth to Lung) and RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) vaping, I feel this kit will appeal to smokers looking to make the switch, without having to gravitate towards disposables.
Even with the thin consistency of the e-liquid used in these pods, I had no instances of leaking, neither on the base of the pod, nor through the mouthpiece – boosting the effectiveness of this kit.
Overall, a straightforward and easy-to-use closed pod system and a perfect step up from disposables.
