UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA) director John Dunne has been appointed non-executive director of Arcus Compliance.

The Wales-based company is regarded among the top vape consultancy agencies in Europe and counts many of the world’s leading brands among its clients.

Dunne is well-established in the vape industry through his work with the UKVIA and has made numerous appearances in the mainsteam media and at industry events.

He said:

“I am delighted to join the Arcus Compliance leadership team and I look forward to the challenge.

“It is a very interesting and challenging time for the industry, as I see pressure for sensible regulatory change throughout the world and I am hoping that my skills and experience in the industry will help the Arcus board continue to develop the best in class tools to keep the industry on the right track.”

Arcus aims to grow its market share over the next few months following a period of ‘significant growth’.

Arcus Compliance managing director, Lee Bryan, said:

“We are thrilled to have John on board at last.

“We have been discussing the idea for several months and with our current plans and growth, we felt that now was the right time.

“Personally, I have known John for almost 5 years now and am very happy to finally have the opportunity to work with him.”

Dunne is perhaps best known as a spokesperson for the annual VApril campaign, which this year went online to help smokers switch to vaping during lockdown.
